Visit our brewery

For 14 generations, Roman Brewery has been brewing with care and passion. During a tour, you'll discover how tradition, innovation, and passion blend into characterful beers. A unique glimpse behind the scenes of Belgium's oldest family brewery.

What can you expect?

A visit includes a guided tour, a tasting of our beers, and a delicious gift package to finish off the experience, so you can enjoy it at home.

Time

Every weekday and Saturday at 10am and 2pm.

Please note: From May 16, we will be working with new time slots on Saturdays: 10:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m., and 3:00 p.m.

Price

  • €0-10 years: free, including guided tour and consumption of water or lemonade
  • 11-17 years: €9 per person, including guided tour and consumption of water or lemonade
  • 18+: €17 per person, including guided tour, tasting and gift package

Minimum number of participants

There is a minimum of 15 participants on weekdays only. There is no minimum requirement on Saturdays.

Maximum number of participants

A maximum of 50 people can participate per time slot, divided into two groups.

Duration

Approximately 2 hours, including tasting.

Practical information

Unfortunately, the brewery is not accessible for wheelchair users due to the many stairs.

To collect, please notify the brewery on 055 45 54 01.

  • On weekdays the guide will wait a maximum of 15 minutes.
  • On Saturday the guide starts at the agreed time.

You can cancel your reservation free of charge up to 5 days before your visit. In that case, you will receive a refund.

The tour will begin promptly at your chosen time. Please arrive ten minutes beforehand at our reception desk (weekdays) or in our bar (Saturdays).

Our bar is open on Saturdays from 10am to 5pm. You are welcome to come by without a reservation and enjoy our beers.

The tasting room also houses a shop where you can purchase various products, such as gift sets, glasses, gadgets, and merchandise.

  • Tours are open to all ages.
  • The tasting is open to guests aged 16 and over. For younger visitors, we offer water and soft drinks as alternatives.

Taking photos is allowed, as long as they are not used for commercial purposes.

  • Weekdays: Please call to inquire about availability.
  • Saturday: you can make a reservation until Friday 1:00 PM at the latest.

Pets are not allowed in the brewery.

It is not possible to have a meal or lunch at the brewery.
